Privacy & Security

Security and privacy are core architectural priorities of Val Shop. We believe players should have full transparency regarding how their credentials and data are handled.

Direct Client-to-Server Communication​

  • Zero Middleman Servers: Val Shop operates strictly as a client application. All network requests for authentication, storefronts, match data, and XMPP chat are made directly from your mobile device to official Riot Games servers (auth.riotgames.com, entitlements.auth.riotgames.com, pd.<shard>.a.pvp.net, glz.<shard>.a.pvp.net, *.chat.si.riotgames.com).
  • No Telemetry of Credentials: We do not collect, transmit, or store your passwords, session tokens, cookies, or personal account identifiers on any external third-party server.

On-Device Storage​

  • Local Preferences: Your session tokens, serialized session cookies, and active user profile indexes are stored locally on your device's isolated application storage (SharedPreferences).
  • Account Deletion / Logout: Logging out or deleting an account profile immediately purges all associated tokens, session cookies, and cached data from your local device storage.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) Support​

Val Shop fully supports Riot Games' Multi-Factor Authentication. We strongly recommend enabling 2FA on your Riot Account for maximum protection.
